ince 2019, CSIA has been leveling up as an organization because the ambition we bring to teaching on snow deserves the same ambition in how we work together. Now it's time for the next step: making 2027–28 a new baseline of trust, value, and engagement, built together around one clear, member-centric vision.

Collective vision of success
By the start of the2027–28season, every CSIA region and member will share one clear vision for where we're going built together, through real conversations and honest listening.
Whatever shape the road ahead takes,getting there will already have rebuilt trust, cut out the repeated effort, and given every region and every member a genuine say.
CSIA will come out of it more agile, more efficient, and ready for what's nextwhile everything that makes each region uniquestays exactly that: unique.
STILL BEING WRITTEN
For over 85 years, CSIA has been built by people who love teaching skiing — one region, one hill, one instructor at a time. That's a story worth being proud of, and nothing about Turn Shape changes that.
What's changing is how we work together: lighter, faster, closer to the people who make this association what it is. The heritage stays. The way we carry it forward is what's evolving.

STARTING THE 2027-28 SEASON
Right now, nothing is off the table including keeping things exactly as they are and every idea gets a fair look before anything is decided. By the end of the year, we'll have narrowed it down together and agreed on the path that works best for everyone. And we're doing it in the open: starting with small, visible steps as a team, region by region, so trust builds as we go
Once we've chosen our path, we'll put it into action sharing resources more smartly between regions and national, and building tools that make change easier next time too. We'll keep strengthening how regional and national teams stay connected, and look at fair ways to welcome more people into what we do.

Sessions to connect, as we go :
Starting dec 2026, we'll host a regional touchpoint every quarter, a chance to hear where things stand, ask your questions, and weigh in before the next step is taken. Exact dates will be confirmed closer to each quarter.
